What's closed in Goodhue County due to flooding (2024)

The Goodhue County Sheriff's Office is experiencing problems with people driving around barricades put in place to indicate flooded roads.

"The barricades are in place for your safety, and ignoring them puts the safety of first responders at risk," it wrote on its Facebook page.

The Sheriff’s Office is also asking everyone to stay off the rivers and not put themselves or others in danger.

Flooding is expected along the Mississippi River in Red Wing again after several significant rainfall events locally and around the state.
